TC Power provides training services that are designed to meet the needs of our customers and provide trainees with support during and after delivery of the training.
Approach Overview
The figure below shows a summary of the underpinning knowledge / experience that would be required prior to progressing to the next level. Courses are targeted to those requiring introductory knowledge and understanding of the operation and principles of Gas Turbine and their main components / subassemblies.
Each level requires a different level of understanding and presents a different set of challenges. Customised training is also designed to focus on the "level" of training that is required for the trainee to carry out the relevant work tasks in a more confident and professional manner.

Outline of TC Power Ltd. Support for Gas Turbine Training
Training Services that can be provided by TC Power are delivered, either on or off site. A mixture of computer based and “hands on” training is available and can be customised to focus on specific training needs.
Training Course Recognition
Our training courses are EAL registered with the content and delivery independently evaluated by Hull Training Centre for content and delivery. This means that on successful completion of the training delegates receive meaningful internationally recognised certificates of their achievement that has been assed against a specific criteria.
Guidance
TC Power provides guidance to delegates throughout the learning experience both on, and where practical, off site. Communication throughout the training is maintained telephonically, by e-mail, or when appropriate one to one.
Tutors
Tutors presenting the course are experienced professionals who have been involved in the development and delivery of Gas Turbine and management programmes in various sectors of business in the UK and internationally. Tutors are able to draw on their industrial, commercial and practical experience as well as their academic expertise. They have operated under similar pressures and commitments as their delegates, consequently their advice is practical, down to earth and realistic.
Induction Session
At the start, or prior to commencement of the course, an induction 1 evaluation session is held to assess prior knowledge and understanding of the subject to be delivered. The induction session contributes to the success of the course and provides the opportunity of sharing experience's with the tutor and when applicable others in the group. It will also provide the earliest opportunity to identify possible areas for developing networking with other course members.
Delegate's Commitment
It is important to appreciate that a high degree of self-motivation is required for any delegate embarking on our courses. Our courses are demanding and will require that all the session and when required assignments are successfully completed.
On Site Training
Our Gas Turbine Training provides technical information and hands on experience (if an engine is available) for those who maintain the LM1600, LM2000, LM2500, LM2500+, LM5000, and LM6000 gas turbine engines and various control systems.
